Dr. Jessica Isabel Popelka was raised in Silicon Valley in Palo Alto, California. Dr. Popelka received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Gerontology from the University of San Francisco. She attended Drexel College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA where she completed post baccalaureate work in Health Sciences. She received her medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Popelka began her residency at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, NJ and completed her residency at University of Florida Health in Jacksonville, FL. Her residency at the University of Florida focused on advanced training in the reconstruction of the foot and ankle with special emphasis on trauma, arthroscopy, total ankle replacements, and diabetic Charcot reconstruction limb salvage.
Dr. Popelka is fluent in Spanish. In her free time, Dr. Popelka enjoys cooking, running, beach days, and is a Disney enthusiast.
